Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. In her final year she worked as a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut.
